🖇️ Korporacja – Office Dungeon Crawler

⭐ 7/10

Players: 2–5
Playtime: 30–45 min
Difficulty: Light
Type: Board Game / Humorous / Office Dungeon Crawler ;)
Mechanics:
roll and move, event cards, take that, risk management, humor-based gameplay

If you’ve ever worked in an open space, you’ll feel a little déjà vu after the very first turn.
Korporacja is a satire of office life — full of absurd tasks, endless meetings, and coworkers who seem far better at getting in the way than getting things done.

All of this wrapped in the unmistakable artwork of Andrzej Mleczko, who perfectly captures that bittersweet corporate chaos. The board looks like a maze of office rooms — the secretary’s desk, HR, the kitchen, and of course, the boss’s office. Along the way: gossip, system crashes, petty reports, and pure open-space madness.

🎯 Goal of the Game

Climb the corporate ladder and earn that long-awaited promotion. Collect items needed to complete your “tasks,” build connections, and — if necessary — throw a subtle wrench in a colleague’s career path. After all, success is 10 % hard work and 90 % “knowing the right people.” 😉

🛠️ How It Works

Each player starts in the secretary’s office with a few task cards. On your turn, you roll the die, move your pawn through the maze of offices, and collect the items you need to finish your assignments. Deliver them to the boss’s office, and boom — another step up the corporate hierarchy.

Of course, nothing ever goes smoothly:

  • Event cards can ruin your plans — from surprise meetings to inspections from headquarters.

  • The Weasel (a special saboteur pawn) can mess up your progress at the worst possible moment.

  • And your “coworkers”? Yeah, they’re not exactly rooting for your promotion. 😏

Every card features Mleczko’s signature sharp humor and sketches that capture the true spirit of office absurdity.

🧩 Why I Like It

That perfect corporate absurdity. Mleczko once again nails our everyday office sins — from gossip at the coffee machine to pointless “alignment calls.”
Humor that hits close to home. Some cards feel like exact snapshots of open-space life — a little too real.
Simple, party-friendly gameplay. Ideal for something light after work — especially with friends who also “live in Outlook.”
Playful backstabbing. You can make someone’s path to promotion delightfully miserable — but it’s all in good fun (and frighteningly realistic).
Great artwork. Mleczko’s drawings give the whole thing the vibe of a living office comic strip.

💀 Why It’s Not Perfect

Korporacja plays best with 3–4 players — that’s when there’s just the right amount of chaos and interaction.
In two, it slows down and gets dull; in five, it turns into a noisy stand-up meeting.

❌ Compared to Kariera Polityczna (Political Career), this one feels a little milder — more predictable, less surprising, and less biting in its humor.
It’s still fun, just not as outrageous or memorable.

❌ 📦 Mechanically, it’s the classic “roll the dice – move – draw an event.”
Don’t expect deep strategy — it’s here to make you laugh, not to test your IQ.

Impressions

Korporacja is the perfect Friday-night-after-work game — especially when you’ve spent all week trapped in Excel. It’s funny, relaxing, and reminds you that office drama is far more enjoyable when printed on cardboard. It doesn’t require focus, but it guarantees a few honest laughs.
And if you’re playing with your actual coworkers — it becomes twice as fun (and mildly therapeutic). 😉
I just hope one day someone makes a Startup Edition — with pitch decks, deadlines, and investor upvotes. 🚀Or maybe… I should just design it myself. ;)

🎯 Rating: 6/10

Funny, satirical, and beautifully illustrated. It won’t revolutionize your game night, but it’ll lift your mood — especially if you play it with people who truly know what a “Friday 5:30 PM call” feels like.
